I am having trouble installing anything from cydia or another installer. Cydia suggested manually correcting (something). Will this method/software take my 3.1.3 3gs 32GB made in week 42 last year back to 3.0? what if I need to restore my phone and itunes wants to install 4.0.2, or can i select the 3.0 as an option? i have everything from 3.0 on on file with the server, or so cydia tell me.

Please Help..Novice here!
I have a 3GS and the 3.1 upgrade. I would like to get my unlock back. I have a fiel on Cydia saying “this device has a 3.0 ECID SHSH on file.
How do i use Cydia to get my lock back or will ECID only Jailbreak my phone?
Your Help is greatly appricated.

I am thinking of buying a 3gs( currently have a 2g unlocked and jailbroken). I would want to jailbrake and unlock, but not sure if it is possible. Maybe i should buy a 3g as it would be easily unlocked? Any comments?

Hi got a problem I got to to when the firmware is updating the phone when the apple is on the screen and the status bar under when it finishes it says error 15 I believe and it says it could not restore can u help me please I was do close

Thanks fir everyone who has worked extra hard giving us what apple should. My question is similar to everyone elses and I can’t seem to find an explination. 3gs w/3.1 I was on 3.0 and cydia stopped working I looked in some forums and tried to delete a few install files which could be the issue and bricked it. Had to go to 3.1. Ecid on file with cydia and I follow all the directions but still get error 3002 in iTunes. Any help is greatly appricated. Thanks again everyone.

Ok here is the question I got 3.0 ECID SHSH file saved on cydia for my 3gs but when I went to settings>general it says I have 3.0.1 O.S and that makes kinda sense cuz I have used redsnow for 3.0 while having 3.0.1 update can anybody tell me if I’m safe restoring my device if yes how to do it safely I have screen shots and all the files I have used for JB my 3 gs

I have the same problem.. I have a file on Cydia! Downloaded your Assistant. Opened the software, after clicking yes, I turned the phone off, plug-in. The Download_Assistant froze. Can not click on the botton on the right. Nothing happen. What should I do?
