ILogManager Elite allows you to delete call records from your call history of IPhone. Either you can delete one or all call records from a contact or a number. This app has a wonderful feature and that is “SEARCH“. Using this feature you can search the entire call history by name or by number for a particular entry.

Whats new in the latest release?

This app is totally redesigned in order to solve the memory issues on the low level RAM IPhones (2G and 3G).

Enhancements:
1. When “Group by contact” option is on, “Info” view of a call record shows the complete list of calls received from that contact/number (for the latest date only).
2. Enhanced “Delete All” and “Delete Searched” functionality.
3. Much, really much more improved memory management.

Fixes:
1. Call date issue. On the current version it is showing as Dec 26 2009, even the call is received/dialed on a different date.
2. Improved and fast table scrolling even the Contact images are displaying.

Prerequisites:

This app requires at least 200 – 500 KB of free space in your IPhone. If you’re trying to install it, please check the available memory in your iPhone. If the required free memory is not available this app may not work properly.

As we announced in out earlier post, we’re not reduced the price of this app. Since the “Show Contact Image” option is not removed the price is not reduced.

We received some complains that IlogManager Basic 3.0.1 is using much RAM of  2G and 3G IPhones. In the ground level testing we observed that, if the IPhone has more contacts (some one told that he has 2K contacts in his address book )  and each of that contact has an image then this worse situation may arise. The “Show Contact Image” option is the real culprit. If this option is “on” then ILogManager start consuming more memory (because it needs to draw each image in each cell of the call records table) of your IPhone and finally it may start complaining “Memory too low”. This issue is reported by the customers who are all using either IPhone 2G or 3G IPhones. ILogManager Basic 3.0.1 is successfully running on most of the 3GS devices.

Now, we totally redefined and redesigned our ILogManager Basic such a way that it’ll NEVER cause any memory issues on the low RAM IPhones (like 2G and 3G). The option “Show Contact Image” (personally we’re not interested to remove this, but there is no other option) is removed from ILogManager Basic 3.1. In the ground level testing we observed that it is consuming same memory or even less than iCallBr (Call Clear).

As 3Gs users doesn’t have any problems with the current version (3.0.1) so they can continue with it. Anyway we’re about release a separate version of ILogManager Basic for 3Gs owners with “Show Contact Image” option with the redesigned ILogManager Basic.
