iTypeFastR version 1.1.4 is now compatible with firmware 3.1, so if you have upgraded you can finally enjoy it again. Thanks for your patience.

Also, we have improved the keyboard. One of the most requested changes to the keyboard on our Uservoice forum was to swap the ‘L’ with the ‘Backspace’. Originally we have put the ‘L’ down there to help people who accidentally submitted (by pressing ENTER) when they wanted to press backspace. However, with so many of you wanting it reversed, we just HAD to listen ;-)

iTypeFastR has been updated and is now 3.0 ready.

We also made many improvements in our landscape keyboard. We expected that to be used much more often now that 3.0 supports it in more apps.

We also streamlined the graphics a bit, getting rid of some animations, and making the keyboard a bit nicer with a little emboss

For those who do not know: iTypeFastR gives you an extra keyboard, that helps you type faster and with less typos. Its design has much larger keys for the letters used most often. While sticking to the QWERTY design.

iTypeFastR is the keyboard app to type faster and with less typos.

After a little over a week after the launch, we got more than 20.000 users, a lot of praise, and a lot of feedback on things we can further improve. Thanks for all the feedback, this is really helping us!

Version 1.1 includes all of the suggestions of users on our Uservoice forum that we could implement in a week. We added extra characters and emoticons. We also fixed the third party app support and improved the cooperation with the Skype app.

Now included: &, %, ~, ^, |, \, GBP and ‘bullit’ characters on the numeric keyboard, and more emoticons: :-( as well as ;-) and :-p .

iTypeFastR is a revolutionary iPhone keyboard app that makes you type faster with less typos. iPhone’s keyboard is slightly too small to type fast. iTypeFastR fixes that.
