It seems that people at FourTrak will not take care of their issues with SBSettings..

It is possible to fix THEIR ISSUE with SBPrefs?
I find really usefull SBPrefs, and i do not want uninstall it just because someone at sonoma decided to give the blame of their issues to.. us..
The problem is that i’m a musician, and i find useful for me a four tracks recorder.. but, everytime i run it, it crashes.
If it is not possible to fix this, could it be possibile to turn off sbprefs for a while?
or.. kill it on terminal?
or.. kill the mobile substrate forcing iphone in safe mode, use fourtrak and restart the phone? (sigh…)

Hey – is there anyway to change the “close” mechanism, or perhaps allow for centered icons? The “X” is too small and my fat finger keeps hitting the first icon. Perhaps you could make it the whole section that lists the IP, etc. That’s not being used for anything else is it? Perhaps if you swiped it, it would avoid any accidental tapping.

Hi! Very good job!
But I have one queestion: will new relase have a brightness feature? I mean one click changes brightness between day and night mode(as mentioned ok some of discussions in this web site).

I do not have jailbreak already, but today I found your sites and I really think about doing JB. But maybe, I should wait until 2.2 firmware update – whats your opinion?

We have given some thought to additional toggles and while we will still add toggles to the SBSettings in the future, we may add a set of toggles that are not required for critical use, but handy to have anyway to the actual “more” app portion. One of the toggles we may add there is SSH. This will give users that are having SSH stability issues to disable it but still have a way to toggle it. Other toggles like mail, safari download or other toggles that are not critical use may move to this setup. Also, toggles that require root access may move to this. (Springboard does not run as root, and SSH toggle requiring root access has been a major stability issue in my opinion).

It’s intentional. As you said, the least likely button is the top one right? The top button is the only “safe” one to press. If you “accidentally” press any of the others then the device either shuts off, reboots, or something else all of which would be quite annoying if done accidentally.

The main reason I do not want to do this is that it would take a whole set of graphics to be loaded all the time taking up even more system memory. I am doing everything I can to make sure this plugin is very thin and does not impact system performance.

I am also pretty motivated to lock down the U/I graphics for v1.0 so that themers don’t have to keep redoing their themes.
