The OSX update to 10.5.6 disables <a href="http://thebigboss.org/guides/dfu-mode/">DFU mode </a>in the USB drivers. It works the same way that it works on the new Macbook Airs. You cannot pwn or quickpwn without DFU mode and in many cases DFU mode saves you from restore issues in general. Rumor is that you can still restore or use DFU mode if you hook up to a USB hub rather than directly connect to the MAC. I suggest that you avoid updating to 10.5.6 until the dev team can work out a solution to this issue. Otherwise, you may have issues trying to get recognized during the DFU stages of pwnage and quickpwn.</p>
