Hi, I am hoping someone out here can help me…. I jailbroke my iphone, OS 3.1.3, model MC136LL, firmware 05.12.01 with Spirit on my Mac, and tried to unlock with ultrasn0w. Get an error message that says – “The requested modifications cannot be applied due to required dependencies or conflicts that cannot be automatically found or fixed.”
It further lists
Modifications: InstallMobile Substrate
ultrasn0w

Depends firmware >=3.0

What is going on? Anyone out there has seen this or can help, please?

I updated my iOS firmware to 4.2 and my baseband is now 6.15.00. I was able to jailbreak my iphone and installed ultrasn0w successfully. However, my iphone can’t still recognized my other sim cards from other networks. Can someone help me with this issue? There’s always a pop up on my iphone that no sim card is installed.
I ran my red snow jailbreak not by “run as administrator”. I just simply open it. What will be the results or problems I will encounter on my iphone when I ran the redsnow not by “run as administrator”? I am thinking this might be the reason why my phone can’t still recognized another sim even after jailbreaking with redsnow and unlocking with ultrasnow. Please help. Thanks in advance.

i have same problem in india delhi.have u done anything more for fixing this bug for “no servise” i think if there is week signal then it will show no signal

Hey Steph,

Did you get your iphone to work in Australia?

My iphone is from north america. I just bought a crazy john’s sim card but it doesn’t seem to be capable with my iphone before and/or after I used ultrasn0w.

I used the crazy john’s sim card in an Australian iphone and it worked fine. I also tried the ’3′ sim card from that australian iphone in mine but it didn’t work either.

I’m wondering if it’s the North American phone causing the problems, or if it’s the unlock.

hey I am having the same problem as don villarosa. I unlocked my iphone 3g on os3.0 with ultrasn0w a while ago and just did a restore and now it won’t work. every time i try to add http://repo666.ultrasn0w.com it says that the repository could not be found. any help would be great thanks! email me at jamesd1128@gmail.com
