Still no jailbreak for the third generation?! Why? How long can I expect to wait for this? I know it takes alot of time and effort to create these, but why not jailbreak the newer devices first?

Do we know of an iOS 4 3G[s] jailbreak on PC yet, is this something that is being looked at, I am handicapped by way of not having a Mac and am a Windows user only, I know that it takes a lot of time and effort to create these jailbreaks and I would like to say to all the Dev’s working so hard and diligently on this new endeavor “thank you”.
I shall wait in calm and peaceful surrender for the new jailbreak and exploit finding….good luck to all.

I cannot find my orginal 3.1 file to downgrade to after hitting option> restore. I have updated my /etc/hosts file to include the Cydia server, but I don;t see my original firmware anywhere on my MAC. et, Cydis says I have them on file when I open it. How do I get the firmware file to downgrade?

why not install VMWareo on Windows and then run Mac OS as a guest system? I do that and never have to rely on anyone making custom images. Alternatively, download one of the custom images floating on the net. There are dozens of them since yesterday.

SBSettings airplane toggle no longer works under 4.0. Even with 2 updates. It must doing something funky with commcenter, as selecting it causes “searching” to appear in the status bar, but the airplane does not appear in the status bar.

Hey Guys, great work on the apps and working hard to get those 4.0 compatible. I know its gotta be hard work for the Devs. I see on the list is iRealSMS, however does anyone know if iRealQuickSMS will be 4.0 compatible or if they are looking at that one as well? Anyone else having an issue with Hide Icons on SBSettings on a 3G. I am upgraded to the latest version and everytime I tap Hide Icons it displays the graphic for Enumerating Icons and then it shutsdown and goes back to springboard.
Also, anyone enable multi-tasking on a 3G and experience terrible performance? I am frequently dropping down to 4MB of free memory and the phone all but freezing up and typically all it shows in the Processes list is Phone, Mail and BiteSMS. Sometimes it leaves Calendar or iPod runnings which I was warned from BigBoss’s message last week. Should I restore and re-jailbreak and this time tell RedSnow not to enable multi-tasking?

The EDGE Button in sbsettings has been replaced by a data button when I downloaded the new version of sbsettingstoggles, and ever since my mobile internet won’t work. I can only get online using Wi-Fi.

Anyone know if there is a jailbreak out for the iPhone 4?
I am running on a 3G with iOS4 jailbroken. It is sweet, but definitely looking forward to the tool BigBoss is writing to turn off multi-tasking. Man, it is causing the phone to crawl and sometimes drops down to 3MB of free memory and absolutely locks up the device. Thanks BB.

Data toggle works. I tested it (before i had same problems like no mobile internet). Most important thing before you update sbsettingstoggles is that EDGE is ENABLED. Best way to install is not through wifi.

Just installed the latest sbsettings update on ios4.0.1, when I reboot from the installation it goes into safe mode, if I choose to restart it just crashes again and goes to safe mode. Anyone knows what to do? Thanks all
