A new app from the developer of AddExchange – iStrings. iStrings gives you the ability to change the system strings of your iDevice. It has support for either WinterBoard or just using the app itself to change them – no dependency on WinterBoard. This is great for people that do not want/need to install extra software that they will only use for one app.
Built to use PreferenceLoader to put it in Settings.app – making it have no SpringBoard icon.
iStrings has support for all of the languages listed in Settings>General>International
iStrings is on the official Cydia Store for only $0.99.
Many updates to come! Also an interface update is up next for cleaner implementation of the advanced section.
Hope you all like it!

Except anybody can do this for free. It’s just a pretty GUI. Certainly not worth charging money over.

What are system strings?

@The6uest they are things like “slide to unlock” or the “Installing…” text under an appstore app that is installing etc etc.
@SquareWheel Some people do not know how to ssh into their iDevice and don’t want to. This makes it possible without that or iFile. :)

@SquareWheel
I think anybody who can simplify how the iPhone is used in any way deserves to get paid for their work.
@GSquared
Great work! See you on IRC! ;)

Hey thanks for this. I am one who changes my strings all the time and this just makes it very convenient to do. And definitely worth the 1 whole dollar some people find hard to give up even just to support a dev providing for the scene.
Anyway so I have questions. Like I said I had strings edited already. Some being the text on various sliders. I installed the app and tried using it and none of the strings were changed to what I tried to use with your app. Does it have something to do with the strings I had already changed? Any suggestions on what I might do. Otherwise I was just gonna wait for my next fw restore and simply use the app from there rather than manually editing them.

I’m glad you are admitting to piracy out in the open. Also, for your information, it is not there as far as I know. Please support developers and don’t pirate applications they put tons of their time into.
