Wi-Fi Sync allows you to sync your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad with iTunes – wirelessly. No USB cable required. The app has received universal praise from Wired Magazine, Engadget, Gizmodo and others. And it’s sold over 29,000 copies making it one of the most successful commercial jailbreak apps ever released. And now it’s on sale for $2.99!
“It is insanely useful, and something that the iPhone should just do already”
- Charlie Sorrel, Wired Magazine

This thing doesn’t work with itunes 10.1, yet the author says it does, why would you suggest this program if the thing doesn’t work?

I doesn’t work. I’ve had it for a couple weeks and never got it to work more than once, and the developer has provided NO feedback! I cannot recommend this product; even $3 is too much if it doesn’t work.

It apparently doesn’t work on the iPod Touch 4G, I may be out a few dollars here. I’ve sent in a request ticket, hope I get a response.

I am still waiting for the new version.
Author said it will provide new features like using the phone while syncing.
That would be great.
Thank for the offer though!

Wi-Fi Sync works fine, but you have to remove it, then upgrade iTunes 10.1 and reinstall it again. Then restart your Mac or PC.
Hope this works for you guys too.

I just went to upgrade 6 cydia apps at once. After saying complete, it asked to reload springboard. That was almost an hour ago. The dial keeps spinning in the center of the screen but none of the buttons work and I cant turn it off. Time and battery life stay the same. What do I do?

You can force it to turn off by holding the power and home button down until the screen goes black..

Great price, great idea but … installation of the wifisync server on Vista 64 is a bit flaky – probably due to issues with USB spoofing. Rebooting my machine got it to work but it is really too slow to be practical. It took 2.5 hours to sync my 30GB iPhone4. Pity this app doesn’t have a trial mode like MiWi which is a great app and well worth the money. $2.99 down the drain.

How can I get wifisync?

Horrible App. I bought it and like others got burnt from it. The app does not work with a modern day version of Itunes, 9.1 only. The crap thing about the Cydia store is that it is nearly impossible to get my money back. I sent a message to the developer and got nothing returned, scammer!
