Update: Redsn0w 0.9.6rc15 now supports untethered 4.3.3 jailbreak. I still recommend not updating due to no need to do so, but if you are on 4.3.3, you can now jailbreak it.

As the topic says. iOS v4.3.3 is now out. Do not update. It only contains a fix for the consolidated.db issue that the press made such a silly fuss over. If you require this fix, instead stay on your current firmware jailbroken and install untrackerd from cydia.
No official jailbreak is currently available and no ETA.Comex has verified, however, that the existing exploit used to jailbreak 4.3.1 and 4.3.2 still exists unpatched. It seems Apple didnt want to make any additional changes except the location tracking system. It seems redsn0w v0.9.6rc14 will jailbreak 4.3.3 tethered only as long as you point it to the 4.3.2 firmware. My advice is to wait for an official jailbreak for 4.3.3 before updating. And since the location untrackerd package successfully neuters the problem 4.3.3 aims to solve anyway, there’s really no reason to update for any jailbroken users.

When u re-jailbreak u will lose all jailbreak stuff. U would have to add ure apps again. Ex sbs settings, winterboard, etc. But ure apps from apple r fine.

The sbsettings phone toggle causes safe mode, ssh in go to var private mobile sbsettings toggles and move the phone toggle somewhere else.

Upgraded from 3.0 to 4.3.3 with my untethered 3GS. Absolutely no issues aside from some old modifications not working for the status bar, i.e. colorful wifi and 3gs bars, battery colors, etc. Used KRS isatin/carbon ftw. Thank you guys for the freedom to choose! Booyah, cha cha cha!

I went from 3.1 to 4.27. Some of my apps wouldn’t work and I had no choice, also xbmc wouldn’t install under old JB. No problems tho.

If I downgrade from 4.3.3 to 4.1 will I lost all my applications? Becoz one thing I’ve noticed about the 4.3.3 is that it consume battery a lot more faster and my iPhone gets hot when I use it.

I have a 3GS with IOS 4.3.3 installed with CallTell for 3GS and i4 ver 3.1 installed. All was working fine until I downloaded FolderEnhancer,Speed Intensifier, ScrollingBoard. Once I downloaded those three apps, whenever I recieve a SMS message my phone resprings every time. I deleted all three app and the problem still presisted. So I began deleting all cydia apps one by one to find out the culprit. It turns out that the culpret is CallTell. After I deleted it everything worked fine. I reinstalled CallTell but I disabled it and everything works but if I reenable it the problem comes back. I just thought I’d post this so someone would know.

Try doing a restore. If that doesn’t work I hope ure still under warranty. But remember before doing that ure going to have to restore as new device otherwise ure warranty is voided if jailbroken.

i jailbroke my itouch a few days ago (4.3.3) . The killswitch in the new SBSetings is not working for me. itunes keeps deleting instalous apps. Someone help please, its driving me nuts. is there an alternative app that could fix this issue? thank you

U can keep ure iOS that u have now or u can upgrade that is up to u. But on how to upgrade look at the top of the page there is an option that tells u what to jailbreak with.

Hi, i have an JB 3gs firware 3.1.2. The problem is my 3g internet stop working about two months ago. I can use wi-fi, but I miss important emails becuase of this. My phone service works, its just my internet keep saying im not connected to the internet.I called at&t they said i would have to update my firware. I do not want to do that for obvious reasons. Can anyone please help me with this problem?!!!

Att usually tell me to go to settings delete history, cookies, and cache and restart the phone. If that doesnt work it may be time to update. Unless someone else has a better idea here.

I am on 4.1 and am thinking of upgrading to 4.3.3. There are a couple of apps I want to download in the AppStore that require 4.2 or 4.3.
Any thoughts? I see a few people saying SBSettings wasn’t working or atleast some toggles. Have those been fixed?

What I mean with the idevice go to settings select safari and there is an option to delete the cookies and the cache. After doing this troubleshoot. It is recommended to shut the device off for like 30-60 sec and turn the device back on. That should fix everything WITHOUT updating. If not i don’t know what to do.

I’ve got a 3rd gen iPod touch and I’ve updated to 4.3.3,then jailbroke it with Redsnow, but Apple’s so called update has disabled my wi-fi and bluetooth- no matter what I do, I can’t use wi-fi or bluetooth, and I’ve learned that there are others with this problem.
I’ve tried downgrading to 4.3.1 but I have issues with iTunes saying “The device is not eligible for the requested build”I’ve gotten past that hurdle and am now running a clean restore of 4.3.3, but I’m still having trouble downgrading so I can have a jailbroken iPod with working wi-fi. I’m very new at this, so if someone could please help me I’d appreciate it.

Have u tried using redsnow v0.9.6.rc16 that runs pretty smooth. If u want to downgrade that’s is a little tricky make sure u have ure shsh saved otherwise u will have problems. There r videos on YouTube and around the web to help downgrading.

Next time it’s stuck in recovery mode try to hold the sleep and home button until it kicks it out. Normally u don’t have to recover in recovery mode. When u put the device in dfu mode and do it wrong u r usually going to go into recovery mode instead of dfu mode. If u r trying to put it in dfu mode open iTunes then put it in dfu mode until iTunes tells u the device is in recovery mode. If ure screen is black when this message pops up ure in dfu successfully. Hope this helps.

What kind of baseband are you running. Also if you are unlocking your iPhone you should be preserving the baseband using snowbreeze or pwnage tool. You may have to wait until you can unlock

Hello, i have just bought and i phone 4 ios 4.3.3, i think it has been jailbroken, because it has cydia on it and installious, and i asked from the stores to full it with apps, so i have like 14 GB of application, i now want to add new apps so i tried transfering the purchases on iphone into itunes but it didnt work, it said that i need to authorize my PC, i did autorize it, and still it isnt working, so i now i am stuck, i dont want to delete the applications on my iphone. DOes anyone knows how to transfer those apps on my PC??
I did a search on google and found out that there is an apps named SSH that can help me, and allow me to transfer my apps on my PC. Does anyone knows how it works? does it work on my iphone 4 ios 4.3.3? Is it safe? If not any suggestion please, i am so deseperate lol
