A new update is available for Music Controls with two exciting features:
-Swipe Gestures now work when the display is off.
-Volume buttons can be swapped based on the device’s orientation. This feature is very useful for using the iPad while it’s upside down.
These functions are disabled by default, so look into Music Controls’ settings to turn them on. If you use swipe gestures when the display is off, I highly recommend you make sure play/pause requires a double tap.
Music Controls now has support for 37 music apps and 7 different control methods.

I cant seem to get this feature to work; even after enabling it in settings…
For clarification, this means when your iPad/iPhone is “off” you can implement your chosen action via Activator to enable Music Controls.
So, if I select a “slide in gesture” From Screen Bottom Left, in Activator, it should activate Music Controls when my iDevice is off? and I “Slide up from bottom left”?

Or does this mean when the Music Controls/iTunes “display” is off/mot running it will activate?

It means that the normal Music Controls lockscreen swipe gestures will work when the screen is locked. It has absolutely nothing at all to do with Activator.

Hi
Good application, but one thing is not working
If I have Spotify on , I can not shut it down thru the Backgrounder.
Is it in Musiccontrol or have I missed any setting?

Touch 2G 3.1.3. Long press of volume buttons to skip tracks is not working for me since last update. Have restored, reset, rebooted, deleted, re-installed and reactivated all to no avail.

Nothing much to say sorry.

I’m on an iPhone 4 running ios 4.1, and the app seems pretty cool, except I do not get the statusbar expansion in all the screenshots. That, to me, was why I spent $5 on this app… any ideas about why this is, or how to fix it?
It DOES say the name of the artist and song, but the options in ‘Settings’ under ‘Statusbar’ are minimal: just play/pause indicator on/off and song info….
help!
