Hi, I’ve just released a new project called PhySwitch. It’s a simple app switcher using volume buttons to change between applications. Check the video demonstration here.

You can configure the action to activate PhySwitch using Activator (in Preferences.app). PhySwitch works with iPhone 3G/3GS/4 and iPod touch 3g/4g. Requires firmware 4.0 or higher. Available in Cydia Store for US$1.99.

Thank you for posting this. And even more thanks for specifying the system requirements for it. I’m constantly going crazy over Cydia apps that I want to use but have no idea if they are compatible with it OS that my phones are on.

Most paid tweak and apps on BigBoss give these kind of details in the description. Moreover, the Cydia purchasing system will not allow you to purchase the item on an incompatible device if the hosts have set it up properly.
For most things posted, probably greater than 90% of packages released work on all devices. The description at a minimum should disclaim what devices and firmwares it /does not/ work with.
