SBSchedule 1.2: iOS 4 and Volume support
Author: openhebrew // Category: Apps, News, RepositoryUpdate: If you have Backgrounder installed and SBSchedule didn’t work for you, update version 1.2.2 should fix this issue !
SBSchedule has been updated and now offers iOS 4 support, and a well requested feature, control over your system and ringtone volume settings. Also quite a few minor requests and issues have been handled as well.
For those of you who don’t know, SBSchedule allows you to create profile groups of various settings for your device, and set them to launch at predefined times, or quickly and easily via any app using an activator shortcut.
SBSchedule can make groups for your brightness, system volume, ringtone volume, respring, and by harnessing SBSettings power, it can also control almost any aspect of your device: 3G, GPS, SSH, Bluetooth, Data, Phone, WiFi, Syslog, Notifications, ActiveSync and much much more…
Some examples include:
- Turn battery hogging features off when you don’t need them, and turn them on when you do.
- Turn your device into an alarm clock with your iPod music player and library.
- Mute your phone when you go to sleep.
- Change your brightness according to a given time of day.
PROTIP1: You can use this app to make your ipod an alarm clock, by installing the “ipod widget” from cydia.
PROTIP2: Set your activator shortcut for SBSchedule to quickly and easily launch your profiles from within any app.
SBSchedule is available for 3.99$ at the Cydia Store.

I have heard about sn0wbreeze, it does work but not with certain iPods and iPhones, I have a iPod touch 3G and it jailbroke mine with no trouble at all, but I advise you to stay away from sn0wbreeze, it has problems, but I have heard rumors about a jailbreak that will soon be released with in this month, I have jailbroken many iPod touches myself and know all jailbreaks, if anyone has questions email me at tobyheffner@yahoo.com I’ll will help you out

Hi,
I just acquired SBSschedule.. and actually miss a big thing, which seems not to exist yet:
a sb toggle for the vibrate settings while not on silent. I know it exists for the silent mode…but at night, for my part, i do wanna have the possibility to hear a ring but (oh please not) not the vibration of my phone on where it stands… Same for my alarm in the morning..
So.. is there someone around here that could make such a thing..? Would be great. it would save me 1 min. every night, before sleep.. :-)
thx!

I have to say that there are other profile managers out there that do things differenly, and in some ways better. Check out My Profiles or Calendar Pro: they give a lot of added functionality. They’re not as simple or sometimes as easy as SB Settings but they give you a lot more control
