SBSchedule – Your ultimate SBSettings Profile manager
Author: openhebrew // Category: Apps, JailbreakSBSchedule is a new program for your iPhone / iPod Touch which allows to setup profile groups of SBSettings toggles. You can then schedule those profiles to fire at a given time or activate them anywhere via a shortcut you can trigger.
The possibilities here are limitless, as almost any on/off toggle you have for SBSettings can be grouped with SBSchedule (and Cydia has lots of added toggles, just search for them. Examples include Push Mail, Push Notification and others…).
Examples include turning off battery hogging features while sleeping like the 3G/Wifi/Edge/Bluetooth/GPS and turning them on (or some of them) when waking up in the morning.
You can even download additional toggles from cydia like PushSoundBlock, which will mute all of your Push Notification sounds, and set them to turn on / off when you don’t want to be interrupted.
The GUI is similar to the device’s alarm program, and you can even set timers to go at specific days of the week only.
This app works and syncs with SBSettings interface as well. You can read more, and see screenshots of the program interface here:

Get it now for the low introductory price of 2.99$ from the Cydia Store.

does this drain battery life like the other scheduling app used to ?

I bought this app on Saturday and initial impression is that it is very promising, but not quite ready for prime time. One problem is that some of my toggles (e.g., Silent) do not operate on where they are placed in the SBSchedule settings interface (i.e., “on” “off” or “unmodified”), but simply toggle to the opposite state each time if they are placed into either “on” or “off”.
If this bug is fixed other missing elements that would be nice to see in future releases would be:
1) status indicator on the taskbar of which profile is running; 2) profiles triggered by charging status; 3) ability to launch specific programs with profile changes (other than iPod); and 4) ability to change ring tones/sounds/notifications with each profile.
I realize this request list goes beyond the SBSchedule concept of working with your toggles and more into a full-fledged profile manager, but I think that’s what’s necessary to make this a fuller success and compete with programs like MirrorProfile. I have both now on my iPhone and, for the moment, I am sticking with MirrorProfile (which gives most of the options, but is missing some, like turning on and off location-based services).
Good start though — and appropriately priced at $2.99 assuming you continue with updates/revisions.

This program should not waste any battery life, it is written in a very optimized way.

I have a quick question. Why can’t I put photos in SBSettings? I have photos locked up in one of my categories folders, and my friends complain when it takes too long to get to it. Any way you can fix this?

I think the ability to toggle is very important .. Tom should make 3 choices : On – Off – Toggle
Because i love the way it toggles, even if it is set to On or Off
About your feature requests,
1) yes i feel too it’s manadatory
4) excellent too .. but maybe it should be a SB Settings plugin to change ringtone ?
Rogerinnyc, i’m also using Mirror Profiles, which is not perfect but very useful .. Mobile Profiles is intersting too but way too buggy .. i think SBSchedule could be the best if more profile-oriented options were added

I have rewritten my own version of the silent toggle switched, called “Ringer & Silent Switch Toggle for SBSettings” will be out on BigBoss repo later today, and ofcourse it will work with SBSchedule.

I installed the SBSCHEDULE with RINGER/SILENCE toggle in sbsetting….but I found that some problems. Example: I set a ringer/3G/Location/Push off in 0000-0600 then another schedule is 0300 just respring only(means just add a new schedule and click “on” respring and don’t set any toggles in sbschedule) my iphone. After that I found that’s just ringer “ON” again in SBsetting. So please fix this problem….I don’t want to set only respring but this process will reset my setting….Thank You so much!!!!

Hi. I’m a sbschedule user. I also want to have on/off ALARM toggle for my sleeping mode. Otherwise, please fix the problem about the ringer after respring. That’s ringer toggle will auto on after respring.

I installed SBSchedule and can see how to set the time with the wheel but for the life of me cannot figure out how to put in the stop time?

Hello,
please add the Feature to control not only ON/Off Toggles in SBSchedule.
WE need e.g. the Feature to “Respring” or “RemoveBG” …. for clear our RAM, e.g. at 20 o` clock ….
Or a complete “Power Off / Reboot” … and other SBSetting Features.

Can SBSchedule turn off a service for X minutes? For example, I would like to turn off Bluetooth for only 15 minutes then turn back on.

Is aTimeTool compatible with OS 4.2.1?
May 3rd, 2011 at 9:20 pm
Is it works with gps (if I go to work, profil “work” activate – if I go home, activate profil “home”)? I like i haven’t anything to do ;)
Thanks

SBSchedule is at the top of my app list! i teach martial arts & now thanks to this, my phone autoMagically transforms into an iTouch before every class.
1 request please: in addition to [start-time] please include [duration] or [end-time]
toggles on @6pm … off @7pm (ex:airPlane)
right now every ‘event’(ie; class i teach) needs 2 separate [on|off] items in sbsced.

never mind my last post… dad always told me if you want something, figure it out…
i’ve been depending on SBSced for ~1yr now. carrying my iphone everywhere… knowing it will turn on and off different toggles at the right time . SBSced IS AWESOME !!!
WHAT ITS MISSING: calendar integration …
my hours are somewhat solid week to week but not consistent… when i take a day off, or on a long weekend… SBSced is always there (killing my phone when im expecting calls) … so i wrote a script to query my calender & create a new sbsetting.plist… ssh it to the phone every monday & we have the autoMagic-weekly-SBsettings-updater-hack
my (google) calendar is synced to the phone too … can SBSced do something like this please… create items for each event (that matches X on cal Y)… set profile.A @(START-10 minutes) … set profile.B @(END+10 minutes)… that’s the essence of what im doing (very badly) in BASH.
keep on rockin the freeWorld!
SBSettings makes my phone awesome
thanks

Dunno if ive done something wrong but ive purchased the app, installed fine. Where do i set the specific times for my profiles? Im looking everywhere on it but can only see day & the only thing with a time is launch at time. I would like it to come on at the time and go off after work.. Is this possible or not? Hope so as it looks great. Thanks Rich

Quote: Rogerinnyc Feature requests:
3) ability to launch specific programs with profile changes (other than iPod);
Has there been any development in this area? Eagerly waiting a Profile Manager with this functionality. Only software I’ve found to date is PhoneWeaver for Android. Apparently an iphone version is still under development.
October 3rd, 2011 at 4:13 am
Just found out from phoneweaver developer that apple restrict this functionality in IOS. This leaves us with jailbroken apps only. I know sbschedules can launch apps based on time of day, so surely it is possible to launch them based on activating a profile.. Right?

Any clue when SBSchedule will be updated for IOS5? The schedule aspect seems to work OK but the “quick” profile selector is all messed up and unresponsive.
I’m going to struggle to live without that but at least the schedules seems to switch OK (phew!)
October 29th, 2011 at 12:48 pm
I love this program. It just needs updated to ios 5 :-(
November 6th, 2011 at 1:44 am
I would also like a on/off toggle for the alarm in sbsettings,
December 18th, 2011 at 10:34 pm
Would it be possible to have an “over-ride all” setting?? For emergencies??
So even if I have my phone set to silent at 3am — and I get a call/txt from my mom — it rings loud?
Perfect. Cheers!

The dev has not replied since feb 2010, so I’d say this is now a dead app. Shame.

I agree, i would love to see functionality back in os 5. I am grateful that the timed plans still work perfectly

MyProiles, in my opinion is by far the best proile manager on iPhone. It can activate certain profile when parameters change, including wifi signal, GPS location …, etc. Unfortunately, the author discontined it so that it is not cpmpatible to iOS5.0.1
What a sad news.
January 26th, 2012 at 1:28 am
After upgrading to iOS 5, I lost Calendarpro4 (which was a godsend, automatically changing the phone’s profiles based on my calendar events). I found this while digging around a couple of forums, but I’m saddened to see that this hasn’t been updated yet. I hope it will be soon. It sounds great.
January 29th, 2012 at 12:41 pm
used this daily on my iPhone 4
really am hoping its going to get updated and soon so can use it on my iPhone 4s
February 9th, 2012 at 4:06 am
So is there any reason why I SHOULD NOT purchase SBSCHEDULER for my new Iphone 4s? I am primarily looking for an app that will mute my phone at certain times of the day, adjust the volume settings at certain times of the day and to be able to put my phone in a “meeting mode” that will stop emails go silent with vibrate by manually selecting :meeting”. Will this app work for what I am looking for on the iphone 4s? Sprint network
February 9th, 2012 at 4:56 pm
I would not buy it at this time because it appears to be unsupported. The “select mode” interface is broken on iOS5. I too would dearly love to see this updated as I don’t use the schedules very often, but I use the mode select all the time.

Check out SBProfiles. Works with iOS5.
