Wi-Fi Sync – Wireless sync with iTunes

Author: flukes1  //  Category: Apps

Wi-Fi Sync 1.0 was released yesterday. The app enables wireless syncing with iTunes at the touch of a button. Never go looking for that USB cable again. Sync from the car, bed or shed whenever it suits you.

Don’t just take my word for it; here’s what the press had to say…

“It works perfectly…it just works, really” – John Biggs, CrunchGear
“It is insanely useful, and something that the iPhone should just do already” - Charlie Sorrel, Wired.com

Wi-Fi Sync is available on the BigBoss repo for $9.99.

bought it works well, quite slow, but works. make sure you reboot your mac after installing the mac part of the software otherwise you may get strange sync results.

Too expensive? GET OUT! Lame idiot…

  6. Beaudean Says:

What kind of precident are you trying to set here ? $10 ! And I seen you complaining about the few cracked coppies getting around, you even went so far as to threaten people with the implication that their phone would need restoring if they used a cracked copy. Blah ! what a load of wallop. When a greedy dev charges $10 for an app, what exactly were you expecting. Come back down to earth and bring the price with you.

    Hear hear….
The app is cool it self, but compared with other apps then the Price is too High…..why should i use wireless when sitting at my lapPC, iTunes is not the Best software anyway…..

The App is a cool App and i would’nt mind trying it out for a cheaper price, but not as it is now sorry…….

  8. Emo Says:

  9. oleg Says:

My price is $ .99, sorry.

  10. Hunter Says:

    Gee

  11. iHot Says:

Remind me snapture price was only $1.99 in app store and +$12.00 in Cydia store. Come on you dev. guys, stop thinking that the jailbroken community or Cydia store is the second class to app store. Any rejected app in app store should be free in cydia store or at the most $0.99, I agree with you oleg.

You’ve really got some chick to come on here and tell people to get lost for a very valid point!! What planet are you on? Everyone else is complaining about the price and that includes me. You really seem LOST!!

  16. Bob Says:

I want to get to jailbreak me.com but I keep getting sent fucking here

  17. BigBoss Says:

Jailbreakme.com is dead. It only worked on iphone 1.1 and that’s been gone for years. Update to 3.1.3 and use one of the many jailbreak guides here such as the spirit guide.

  18. Eric Says:

Well, even though I admit that $10 is quite some money, I bought the app, because it’s worth it, at least to me. the ability to sync without having to find that dammed USB-cable is priceless. ;)
What i don’t really understand is why some of you are so angry about the fact, that devs charges money for their apps. Even if the app has been rejected in the app store, the dev(s) put in some hard work and probably don’t want to work for free. I agree however, that it shouldn’t be $10, that’s quite much. But if there’s a demand for it, why not. Jailbreaking for me doesn’t mean i want to get everything for free. I also don’t use cracked apps. It’s just the endless possibilities the jailbreak offers, and I’m willing to pay for good apps. Well, maybe wireless syncing shows up in the 4.0 OS, but who knows for sure?
    Just my 2 cents…

  19. Anonymous Says:

If you’re happy to pay $10 for every single app on your phone, then fine, I am not.
And I am not saying we should get it or any app
for free, but a reasonable price would prevent people using cracked copies due to the never ending update routine etc, and the devs would sell more copies, so wouldn’t lose a cent. Like Beaudean said, once a precedent is set others will follow.
    Just my $10

  21. Panda Says:

The sync cable is not useless, it is for me to charge my iPod. For me, I just need winscp, that’s enough for controlling my iPod. Wifi – sync drains up the battery, data is easier to hack, security concern.. Just imagine anyone who knows my iPod IP can login to my iPod using winscp using the default root-alpine password…

  22. Josh Says:

Dont moan about something until you fully understand it.. If you’re bothered about security then change your ssh password to something else..?

  23. Anonymous Says:

Wow to high of a price

  24. Ilkka Says:

Some Programmers getting creasy to claim such prices for an app.

    Think before you calculate!

  25. Anonymous Says:

    WTF

  26. Haleem Says:

I just bought Wi-fi sync, downloaded it to my computer..but I can’t download it now on my iPhone. I went to your site, to the app and it comes up, but there is nothing to click/download. It days “unknown device identifier”. What am I doing wrong?

  28. Kevin Rutledg Says:

Want to buy it but I am getting an internal server error on my iphone.

  29. bam Says:
