EDIT: YourTube 2.0 for the iPhone/iPod touch is now finally out as well!
Straight from the crack team of tweakologists at Cocoanuts comes YourTube HD 1.2, with newly-minted support for importing downloads directly to your iPod library! Much like its smaller sibling, YourTube 2 (available soon!), YourTube HD will be able to seamlessly integrate your favourite YouTube videos with your mobile media machine!
Our common media importation framework, Gremlin, makes this possible. Gremlin, not content to be left alone with YouTube videos, will also take on a starring role in other Cocoanuts software such as Safari Download Manager and AttachmentSaver!

Why yet another You Tube downloader? These guys had one for the iPad now one for the iPhone 4.x firmwares. Why not make it one app that does it all. Buy this and buy that. I bought the first YourTube and now I have to pay for an upgrade from a different developer. It’s only a buck, but damn! Is this to be expected for future firmwares/devices (5.x)? Sounds alot like Apple tactics to me.

That means that they can’t develop apps all that to well. They need different work groups to handle certain devices/firmwares. If they spent all the hard work they do to focus on one app. That one app would be the best. I still see and use apps that will still run on 2.2.1+. Those are dope developers. I’m just worried this will happen once they lose staff or even interest like with the first YourTube and so many other apps that still linger in the App Store/Cydia. No support so don’t ask.

When i install yourtube on 4.2.1 ipad, it crashes my youtube whenever i try to play a video.

Thats right!, I Purchased YourTube HD for my iPad 4.2.1 and it crash as well, sounds they forgot to add “its not compatible with 4.2.1″ before they add the Purchase Button.
What a waste of money!

Don not buy it for 4.2.1 at all……….it is not working!!!!!!!!
