FullScreen for Safari 1.10 – major update, awesome new features
Author: Yllier // Category: Apps.
FullScreen for Safari has received a major new update with many useful features, especially for one-hand users.
- new Gestures: One Finger Tap and Hold (a tap, then place your finger again and hold for a short time), One Finger Double Tap and Hold
- new Action: Open predefined URL (define a website which you can open by a gesture)
- a PopPup where you can access all Actions. The PopUp can be activated by any gesture.
If you don’t know about FullScreen for Safari: FullScreen for Safari adds a FullScreen Mode to Safari. But not just that: It also makes Safari a real multitouch browser by adding many new gestures which can trigger a a lot of action.
FullScreen for Safari can be found on the CydiaStore for just US$ 1.99!

Only issue I have noticed is that “tap then hold” doesn’t seem to work for me but “tap, tap, hold” does. Maybe it’s conflicting with something else..
Also, can the popup be themed? That’d be cool too.

It wasn’t initially working for me, either. I fixed it by only holding the 2nd tap for about a second. I doesn’t popup for me if I hold it for longer than that.

Yeah, I tried holding it different amounts of time and it still didn’t work. However, I just tried re-selecting that action to open the popup and now it’s working!
Now Yllier just needs to create a “Fullscreen for Mobile Mail” app. ;)

“One finger tap and short hold” is actually tap tap and hold
“One finger double tap and short hold” is actually tap tap tap and hold
The new features are a nice addition but there are still bugs from the beginning that haven’t been fixed yet.
The native double tap to zoom is not as fast and responsive with this tweak installed.
Apples double tap to zoom/unzoom is a great feature for me so I hope it gets fixed/optimized.
Also in landscape view the native bottom buttons (back, forward, add, and bookmarks) can be unresponsive at times.
Again great update but please do fix the above issues.

Totally agree with the need of bugfixes. The back button not working in landscape is maddening – and even if the back from the popup works it should still be fixed.

Hi guys! I have a question and have no idea where to post it, so I decided to post it here.
I have iPhone 3GS, jailbroken with a firmware 3.1.3 (7E18). How do you think, is it necessary for me to make any updates? Honestly, I am not so much into the deep tek datails, so I don’t know whether I need that or nor.
By the way, is it possible to add a toggle appl. to access some buttons sliding acroos the statusbar to show the window?
Thanks a bunch!!
