Firewall iP, the first and only Firewall for the iPhone, got a new update to 1.35. This update brings you new features along with some stability fixes.
Firewall iP is the only security app of it’s kind and offers many advance features like getting WhoIs-informations about the host.
Block outgoing TCP & UDP connections selectively
Shows you the hostname for the connection & can provide you with WhoIs information
Block connections of apps when you are on a cellular network
Block analytic providers / data collectors which PrivaCy can’t
Block unneeded content (ads ;))
Easy to use interface & control app
and many more…. http://yllier.webs.com/firewall.html
Firewall iP is available in the CydiaStore for only $2.49
new in 1.35:
- added Global allow/deny to popup
many users requested this features and here you go, I hope you like it
- changed *host/*.host to *domain/*.domain
this has also been requested. for example: if the popup shows you static.google.com as hostname this will create *google.com/*.google.com (instead of the previous *static.google.com/*.static.google.com)
- fixed a bug in 1.31
due to compiling with the iPhoneOS SDK 3.2 beta there was a bug in 1.31, which would cause to crash as soon as you selected a list. if you want to read more about the issue with the 3.2beta SDK: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2152321/weird-uitableviewcell-loading-exception
to all Devs: watch out for this problem

Hello there,it seems that sometimes the popup just doesn’t go away in this update…clicking on allow once, always allow, allow session, all three options equal to allow once. -0
